Wednesday, April 16, 2008 - Ft. Myers
Student Government is now accepting applications for executive cabinet members for the 2008/2009 year. Cabinet members will have the opportunity to work with the Student Body President and Vice President to maintain a functioning executive body of Student Government. If interested please review the available cabinet positions at the bottom of this page and download the director application in the document section on the menu and turn it into Stacy Hopkins, in room 224, upstairs in the Student Union.
Wednesday, April 02, 2008 - Ft. Myers
Student Government is sponsoring a new campaign, "Take the Vote". Take the vote is a student-driven , non partisan organization whose goal is to engage FGCU students in the voting process by supplying them with well-researched information on candidates , as well as conveying the importance of voting on local, state, and national levels. There will be a debate tonight at 7:00pm and Take the Vote will be there!
Tuesday, March 04, 2008 - Ft. Myers
The Student Government elections are only a few weeks away. To run for a Student Government position please fill out the Election Packet which can be found on the menu under documents. If you wish to run for an FGCU Student Government position which commences May 1st 2008 the form must be completed and turned into Stacy Hopkins in the Student Union Room 224 no later than 12 NOON on Monday, March 10, 2008. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility to run. If you have any questions or comments please contact Alex Gessner, the Supervisor of Elections, at ajgesssne@eagle.fgcu.edu.
